TEACHING PLAN

Although I have some experience teaching in Thailand, but it cannot be compared to the practicum here. I have toughed the students grade 7 in English Subject.

There are 33 people in the class. So, the class is quite big. Then I must prepare to manage the class and make it interesting such as lesson plan, games or activities, methods, media including technique that I used in the class by reference from the English subject book of the students. And I always got the advice and feedback from my supervisor, Bu Cicik who is the lecturer from English major of UPGRIS. She took loving care of me. She supervision my teaching and often gave careful advice, such as how my classroom management in the first time was not inclusive to the children in the back of the room. Focus on just the front of the room. I feel that way too. Because that was my first time teaching there, I was excited and nervous. I have taken this advice and adapted it. Try to reach increased children. and walk to look around everyone when doing various activities. However, she gave compliments about my accent, teaching, and pronunciation. she likes the way I teach the students and how I pronounce the words in English. At the first time of my teaching the power at the school went out. My mentor teacher Pak Hanung told me that “Whatever happened the teacher must be ready in every situation.” I could not agree more, this sentence reminds me to be ready and try to solve the problem consciously.

I have been assigned to teach 2 lessons: Present Simple Tense and Identities (Introduction, Families and Hobbies).
